王宠佑　字佐臣。年三十八岁。生于香港。已婚。女一。初学于香港皇仁书院。毕业于北洋大学。光緖二十七年游美。入加利佛尼大学。习矿科。光緖二十八年。入哥仑比亚大学。习矿学及地质学。光緖二十九年。得硕士学位。被选入某名誉学会。为美国矿业学会及矿业工程师会会员。光緖三十四年回国。任长沙华昌炼矿公司技师。宣统元年。任保泰公司总理。民国元年。任广东工商司长。民国三年。任大冶铁矿总理。现任汉口潘那夫公司工程顾问。著有锑矿一书。及中国地质矿产全书。现时住址。湖北汉口西贡路巴公花园。

Wang, Chung-Yu.-Born in Hongkong, 1879. Married, 1912. Studied at Queen's College, Hongkong, 1893-95; at Peiyang University, Tientsin, 1895-99. Graduated from the Mining Department, Peiyang University, 1899. Arrived in America, 1901. Studied Mining at the University of California, 1901-2; Mining and Geology at Columbia University, 1902-5. M.A., 1903. Elected to Sigma Xi, 1904. Member: American Institute of Mining Engineers, 1904; Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, 1913. Returned to China, 1908. Metallurgist, Wah Chang Mining and Smelting Co., Changsha, 1908-9. Managing Director, Pao Tai Mining and Smelting Co., 1909-13. Commissioner of Industry and Commerce for Kwangtung, 1912. Superintendent, Taiyeh Iron Mines, 1914-15. Author: "Antimony," 1908; "Bibliography of the Mineral Wealth and Geology of China," 1912, both published by Charles Griffin and Co. At present, Consulting Engineer to T. K. Banoff and Co., Hankow.
